TUT is among the earliest recommended Chinese-learning institutions by the Ministry of Education of China and is specified by the Confucius Institute Headquarters to be a host institution to admit international students who are awarded Confucius Institute Scholarship.
The School is committed to students’ overall development and organizes many cultural and sports activities for international students.
The short-term Chinese learners who come in the middle of a term will be arranged into a suitable long-term class according to their Chinese levels. But a group of over 6 people with similar Chinese level can have a special-opened class.
Duration: 4 to 12 weeks
Courses:
Daily Chinese Dialogue, Spoken Chinese, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, Sightseeing in Urban Areas, Extra Relative Courses(Students are placed into separate classes according to their levels of the Chinese language.) Elective Courses: kunfu (Chinese martial art), table tennis, Chinese cooking, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese folk arts (paper-cutting, carving), traditional Chinese musical instrument playing, Beijing opera, business Chinese, etc.

Qualifications: Maximum years of age: 65, healthy.
Tuition:
RMB 2050 for 4 weeks, 2870 for 6 weeks, 3690 for 8 weeks, 4510 for 10 weeks
Note: Students who apply this program should join in the long-term semester Chinese program to study and must have certain Chinese skills to catch up with the other students in the class. There are two periods of time for students to choose: Autumn semester (from Sep. to Jan.) and Spring semester (from Feb. to Jun.). If you want to study in other periods of time, you could choose summer course, winter course or one-on-one course.

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
